My oncologist of 20+ years retired and I was devastated. But I found Dr Grow and he is awesome! He is kind and very involved in my healthcare. He will spend as long as necessary explaining and discussing health issues and options. I am so thankful to have him as my doctor!
Dr. Grow is a fabulous doctor. He explained everything carefully and completely, and was very patient about explaining the answers to my many questions.
Dr. Grow saved my life when I did not know where to turn. He treated me like a human being when I was at my lowest. He listened to me rather than making assumptions of my illness. Some doctors are good at their specialty but poor at relationships. Some are nice but leave you feeling like you're not getting the best health care. It 's been my long-term experience that Dr. William Grow is both not only a personable, friendly & very caring doctor but has given me 10-star medical treatment. He asks questions about the treatment prescribed & then adjusts it to my special needs. Follow-up is great. I feel like he really cares about me & always has; He has never let me down.
My husband and I had to chose between surgery or chemotherapy for his bladder cancer. Dr. Grow was knowledgeable, answered all our questions without rushing and listened with compassion to all our fears. I have never been so impressed with a doctor before. He took the time to make us feel like his only patient.
Dr. Grow was in charge of my brother's radiation and chemotherapy for tonsil cancer. He put him on several old chemo agents (Cisplatin) and radiation. Dr. Grow did not recommend immunotherapy agents or any other trial treatment options. My brother's cancer metastisized and eventually killed him at the age of 50. Dr. Grow never offered any other options for my brother's treatment than the "old school" chemo drugs and radiation. I feel that if my brother died due to substandard care.
Great experience at his office in a first visit from front office to nurse taking blood to physician assistant Shah to Dr. Grow to exit and billing process. Caring and listening showed at each step. Clearly because of their large practice and flagship presence at Florida Hospital they are successful physicians. What made our interaction great was our patient was made to feel comfortable amid very high anxiety. The post visit treatment program showed discernment and calmness. Great going.
