Founded in 1983 by Oregon native Jim Bernau, Willamette Valley Vineyards has grown from a bold idea into one of the region’s leading wineries, earning the title “One of America’s Great Pinot Noir Producers,” from Wine Enthusiast Magazine. All of the vineyards have been certified sustainable through LIVE and Salmon-Safe programs. Additionally, Willamette Valley Vineyard was the first winery in the world to use cork certified through the Rainforest Alliance to FSC® standards.

This is a fabulous place to enjoy good wine, learn pairing with wine & food, and simply taking in the beauty of our Valley.
The people are very friendly and helpful. The winery is a comforting atmosphere, with fireplaces and great views of the valley.
We came to your chowder “festival” today after being told over the phone it was “kid friendly.” There was no festival, it was an upscale restaurant, no other children were present and there were no “play areas” as stated in a description of the event online. Some of the tables had open flames (!!) that were at kid height. Not impressed and we won’t be coming back. At least we got a refund.
Beautiful venue with an even more beautiful vista and fine wines. Try to visit when they have an event, which they have all throughout the year.
