If you receive care here, prepare to be frustrated to the point that your head may spin off your body. Highlights include: 1. Waiting almost a year to receive an outpatient test. Each time I inquired about scheduling, I received a different story - poor staffing (blamed on the hospital not approving an additional FTE), machine is broken, lack of training, turnover, etc. Eventually, a letter was sent to the Salem Health patient advocate and this resulted in the test being completed within a week. 2. This place is trash. My doctor sent this place a referral in November of 2024, in May 2025 after calling numerous times ( being told my referral hadn’t been sent when in reality this place was spelling my name wrong and they weren’t smart enough to use my phone number until finally I talked to somebody with common sense that figured this mess out) I finally got an appt in July. I would not recommend this place to anyone. It’s hard to get through on the phone and get simple questions answered. You are treated with standardized care not individual care. My Dr used scare tactics and talked me into having a “permanent” nephrostomy and didn’t give me other options. I got a second opinion from a urologist in Portland. That Dr was able to reverse the nephrostomy and put a stent in its place. I’ve gone two years now with a stent and no nephrostomy bag no thanks to Willamette Urology.
