Occurred: August 22 around 9:00AM - 9:30AM The county health department is extremely unprofessional and fails to provide the basic standard of care that a public institution should. I personally witnessed an African American staff member yelling at a Spanish-speaking individual who did not fully understand English, rather than offering proper assistance or translation services. Excelente servicio
Our experience here was wonderful. I found out (last minute) before school was starting that our primary care doctor no longer does shots. Contacted the health department. Had to leave a voicemail but they got back to me within the hour and were able to schedule us in within the next week. Coming into our appointment, everyone was extremely kind. My 1 star review is going to Dr. Araus in the OB department. One of the most horrible doctors I’ve ever had experience with. She absolutely does not listen to a word you say and doesn’t care about her patients. I’ve seen all the doctors in this group and had 0 problems with all of them, in fact, had a great experience with them. Her though, absolutely not. I would not trust her with my care or anyone I know. I would write more detail but I’m going to spare it.
5- star. Extremely credible regarding food safety. I became ill from a bad chicken breast. The Will County Health Department responded immediately and the original person I spoke with called me back after visiting the restaurant. I have high faith in these individuals, especially the inspector, as he followed through and informed them of their violations. I feel much safer after my experience with these folks. They took my call very seriously and found what we had suspected. Thank you.
