The very best catfish I have had this side The Mississippi... And it's in Ballground? The dirty rice was so spectacular that I took home a quart. You will not find a better fried piece of Catfish in Georgia. If you do- please leave a reply to this comment. I have found my new go to and at the age of 60!
Great place to purchase fresh meat and a variety of other things. I shop here weekly and the meat tastes great and the prices are good.
I have been going to Wilkes in Cumming for years. Hands down the best. Since I live in Canton, I decided to give the Ball Ground store a try. So disappointed! ☹️ The smoked wings are prepackaged and dry with no smoke flavor. (I threw them away) The bbq sandwich was cold, like it was taken out of the refrigerator even though sitting under a heat lamp. I WILL CONTINUE TO DRIVE TO THE CUMMING STORE
Customer service here is amazing every single visit from the butchers to the sweet ladies up front! The quality and meat selection is top notch something for everyone. Huge thank you to Donavan for taking the time to wrap our meat box is smaller portions since there is only two of us at home. We really appreciate it and love that our freezer is well stocked.
