A few years back my father was diagnosed with lung cancer. At age 79 and in poor health I knew it would take him soon. Being his power of attorney and executrix of his will I worked with him to set things in motion to take care of all of his business affairs. My wife and I purchased our memorial from Wilhelm Monuments and the service was above and beyond what we expected. Judy Wilhelm was so knowledgeable and helped us pick out our memorial. Our daughter was visiting from Tucson, AZ for a week and when I mentioned this to Judy she made sure that everything happened so our daughter could view it while here. I highly recommend these folks. WOW, the dis-respect that these places give the families and the deceased. My step-father passed way on April 9,2012 and was told by this company that if we paid the day we came in or by the next day they could PROMISE that he grave would be engraved within 2 to 4 weeks as of today it is still NOT done, left an email NO RESPONSE, called twice before I could get to the right person and Judy was so rude and said they will get to it when they can they are running way behind, I told her had they been HONEST with us we could have... read more

Monument Maker Too – Besides providing monuments and headstones for graves, Wilhelm can construct monuments for placement in parks and other spaces. We, of the Old Colorado City Historical Society commissioned Wilhem to provide a Colorado Rose Granite commemorative monument on the occasion of the Susquecentennial 150-years anniversary of Colorado City. WONDERFUL! – My parents purchased their headstone from Wilhelm Mounument Company many years ago. One of the vases on my (deceased) father's headstone broke off. I phoned Wilhelm and was delighted when Ms.Judy Wilhelm answered. Ms. Wilhelm was extremely friendly. I could "hear the smile" in her voice. Ms. Wilhelm phoned to inform me after Wilhelm promptly reattached the vase. Unfortunately, outstanding customer service is rare indeed.
