Update 1/14/17: We knew the venue was awesome and then Rick Monroe called right before going on stage and said staff is incredible, stage and venue is amazing, this place rocks! If my artists are happy, I'm very happy! So thanks Wildwood. You've got Rick scheduled to come back and a Spring/Summer full of Southbound Artists lined up. Time to pack Wildwood! This was once my favorite place back in the day.. I went on my birthday for my favorite drink and appetizer Neither one was served anymore. okay, I could understand. No drink menu. so asked if she knew how to make something else one bartender did look it up and did make it .. went upstairs to play pool and when I went to the bathroom was greeted with every toilet needing to be plunged... so I will not be going back . ...
This review is for the establishment under the new ownership. The food prices were greatly increased yet the quality of food decreased significantly. I asked for a drink menu and was told that they didn't have one. Drinks were really expensive and not made very well. My cousin purchased a drink and never received change from the bartender from the 20 dollar bill she used. It's really slacking under the new ownership.
I have to say I have been going out here even before they reopened. Tearing up plates and the dance floor! Slightly disappointed about the cornbread they now serve but HOT DAMN is the Brisket and Ribs BETTER than ever!!!! ����
We recently ate here since they opened back up. The staff was very friendly & were aiming to please us. The food was fantastic! They mentioned there are a couple things they are working on changing/adding to the menu but we were already very satisfied. I cant wait to go back & see if they re-add the pulled meat nachos!
First time back since new owners. Knew there would be start up hiccups. All I have to say is that they are very close to nailing it. Had the ribs. Baked beans. Potato salad. Incredible flavor. Only thing left is to perfect the cornbread which the chef said they are working on. Be back in a couple weeks to try it! Be patient people. I usually don't do reviews but I loved the old Wildwood and the new owner(s) seem to be going in the right direction! Try it! Had a table of 8 for reference. Everyone's meal was delish!!
I used to love going to the old Wildwood but this place is a shithole $6.50 for mixed drinks $4 for beer you have to wait 10 minutes at the bar because the bartenders are too busy trying to get laid with a bar that isn't even busy I won't be going back the only thing good was the band
Was excited about the re-opening. However, the food is nowhere near as good as it used to be. Disappointed. Oh well, there are other options for BBQ in IC.
