I hate to post this review because then more people will want to stay there! In all seriousness this is a wonderful place to stay. Large rooms, clean all around, beds comfortable. Staff is amazingly friendly. Nice grills for you to cook your own meal. A little dirty but we expected that and just used aluminum foil. The firepit in the front and people gathered around from all walks and visited. It is starting to need a little face lift but this hotel knows the true meaning of hospitality.
Stayed for 3 nights and paid extra for 2 poolside rooms. What they didn’t tell us is the pool is no longer accessible from the rooms. So we paid extra for more noise from early morning to late night. The first morning we’re woken by a sheriff at the door asking if we heard gun shots. The last night we were woken at 3:00AM by the fire alarm. Firefighters came into our room to find the smoke/fire detector was last checked in 2004. When I let the front desk know at check out, there was little concern.
