My husband and I found a bird in the middle of the highway and moved it to safety. Unsure if it was injured we called WRARI and spoke with Kristen on off hours, who recommended that we return to the bird to photograph it so she could diagnose it. When we returned, the bird was gone and we were informed by Kristen that the bird was likely a fledgling, as they are common this time of year and that moving the bird was the right thing to do.
