RecommendedBeen at Sunset Ridge now 3 years. The place is beautiful. All the lots have breathtaking views of the mountains. The club house is done. And now have have several get togethers there. The park has seen a lot of growth and improvements. Not to mention the park has easy access right off a nice 4 lane divided highway. Franklin N.C. is in my opinion on the prettier side of the Smoky Mountains. And less crowded. Just going to Lowe's and Walmart is a beautiful drive. Only a few minutes away. Lots are good size. This place has the most amazing views. It's close enough to town for convenience but is very quiet with spectacular sunset. Class A RV's only makes it very upscale with a great new clubhouse. My favorite place.
We bought here at Sunset Ridge several years ago after a lengthy search of the Appalachian Mountains from Virginia to Georgia. By far this resort is hands above the rest when it comes to location, access to major travel arteries, views and just all round beauty. Not far from here in Toxaway, we seriously consider a resort there, after considering their hard location at access, available views, high maintenance fees, Sunset Ridge won hands-down. This place has the most amazing views. It's close enough to town for convenience but is very quiet with spectacular sunset. Class A RV's only makes it very upscale with a great new clubhouse. My favorite place.
