We did the half day trail ride the second weekend of September, and it was amazing. I had never been on a horse in my life, but I felt safe the entire time. The horses were great, and Owen and Greta were knowledgeable, patient and kind guides! We would definitely do this again, but would also probably do the full day or multi day trips! I’ve seen some people comment on steepness of the trails, and while I agree it was a little steep a couple of places, I (with zero experience) felt totally safe and relaxed the entire time.
Wow! If you love horses and outback proper western riding, this is your destination. Allison, Eric and your team just fulfilled my childhood dream. 3 days of glamping, in fabulously comfortable tents and beds. The most fabulous meals cooked by a professional and passionate chef Greg. Eaten around the camp fire, serenaded by Owens guitar playing and Ava’s singing. The horses are fantastic, so responsive and well behaved, the scenery and riding trails are second to none. Thank you, thank you for the most amazing 3 days.
My friends and I were in town for a wedding when we stumbled across Wilderness Trails and thank God we did because it was the best way we could’ve wrapped up our really special trip to Jackson. Everything was perfect, everyone felt like family, the horses were beautiful and visibly well kept and well loved, tents were cozy, the food was fantastic, and a huge plus were all the pups running around. We loved meeting all of yall, can’t wait to come back again ❤️
