Our June 2016 get away was everything we'd hoped for and more. The Wilderness Lodge is breathtakingly beautiful, quiet, calm and offers amazing fishing. Our week stay was outstanding and we're going to be back every year for sure. The nearby town (about 7 miles or so) has everything you may have forgotten and the locals are very friendly. We stayed in "The Trapper" and it was just what we'd hoped for. Outstanding resort and very nice people. Thank you for memories of a lifetime.

Stunning, Peaceful beauty beyond all expectations. This is like stepping back in time and having everything that you have ever dreamed of in a TRUE northwoods lodge. I have so many priceless memories that I cherish, from my daughter's surprise engagement to the sheer beauty of the grounds....this is one of my favorite places on earth. Sue & Jozsef are amazing and you will feel as if you are truly welcomed as "family". As lovely as the photos on the website are....they do not begin to do justice to The Wilderness Lodge!
