A great experience learning to backpack in the wilderness. We learnt to stuff our backpack, pitch our tent, hikes 22.5 miles/elevation 1700ft, explored foraging, leard cooking and dish cleaning in the wilderness, safety for self, animals and vegetation. At 70 backpacking with a 30 lb backpack was daunting, but both my guides Emma and Katharine were super helpful and kept giving me tips and encouragement. A bucket list item checked but felt like a dream. The location, Porcupine Mountains in fall was a fantasy colour.
I had a great time. Shaq was great, knowledgeable and engaging.
Had a great time in a 10-person canoe on the Milwaukee River yesterday with Wilderness Inquiry. They were well organized, friendly and knowledgeable. All of us, experienced paddlers and newcomers alike really enjoyed being out on the water with them

In the past years I've been on trips and treks, and some volunteering. Visiting the base camp first in 2007, it's now expanded and impressively-updated in every way! This camp is populated with kind-hearted, knowledgeable and experienced staff. The entire grounds are fully-accessible with electrically lit and vented compost toilets, well- appointed tent-site platforms help keep the ever-present sand at bay.
