I scheduled an appointment for hair coloring and was quoted a price over the phone. However at the time of payment I was charged 50% more than the quoted price for the service. When I protested I was told, 'we are sorry but we cannot do anything about it'. I consider this 'bait and switch' as I went into the salon due to the price quoted to me. Please be aware.

best stylist found! – I recently visited Wild Root Salon in Northgate mall for the first time. I went in for a partial foil with Courtney. I had a foil (from a previous stylist) that left my hair very brassy and not highlighted at all so I really needed it to be fixed. Courtney is probably the most attentive stylist I have ever been to, she asked me a lot of questions and tried to really understand what I wanted in a hair color. This could be a cool place, but they employ unlicensed people! Be careful when you go here. THEY EMPLOY UNLICENSED PEOPLE!! They just announced on their facebook their new esthetician: Crystal Robbins. So I went in for a facial and bikini wax. I found out later that Ms. Robbins doesn't even have an esthetician license!! The salon is allowing her to "practice" on the skin of unsuspecting clients!! THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS!!

A Great Experience – I went here because I had an aveda pure privelidge gift certificate. I had never gone to this salon before and I didn't know anyone who had. I had no expectations but I had a gift cert. for $150 and I desperately needed a cut and color. Everyone was really nice and welcoming. Tanya cut and colored my hair and did such an amazing job. Reasonable Wild Roots was a reccomendation from a friend when I needed to get my hair done at the last minute for an event. Clean environment, nice staff with reasonable prices. I only had an updo, but could see the work others had done and thought it was good.
