my hair is very thin, and very straight. I have a cow lick in an inconvenient place for the style I like, so I've never really had decent experiences at hair dressers. Dani looked at a picture of my hair from when it was last cut by someone, and perfectly replicated it. ★Customers Beware★ Dani is a good colorist- but lacks in honesty and integrity. I was a first time customer, and made the mistake of trusting her. I asked her for low-maintenance coloring- I usually get a balayage. She told me that “speciality blonding” takes less to maintain- which is false. She never asked if I wanted a blowout and style. This salon is special because of the uniqueness, sensitivity and creativity of its owners, Leah Kaufman and Dani Marcellus. I see Leah, who listens carefully to what I’d like to accomplish during a visit, whether it’s a new hairstyle, or some type of color, etc. You can also text or email them ahead of time if you’re not sure about what you want.
