I was a complete newbie to this form of self care and learned a tremendous amount about myself and the process. Elissa helps create a wonderful "space" for exploring and expressing our inner struggles through this medium. It was a joy to participate and learn from her!
If you are a mental health professional in need of some self care I highly recommend Wild & Free’s Creative Burnout Prevention series. Elissa offers a safe space to be yourself and process what you need through painting. For me it was the therapeutic outlet I didn’t quite realize I was missing. And now I don’t want to be without. Highly recommend if you want to nurture yourself in an embodied , creative, expressive, and intuitive way.
Wild and Free painting never fails to be a BIG deep breath and sigh of relief, every time!!! Elissa is a master space holder and the groups she facilitates are like a warm hug. To paint freely and move the brush without worry about the end result/product is the freedom all women deserve! Thank you Elissa for your consistent safe space over the years that has held me deeply and prevented me from a lot of burn out and meltdowns! I’m a process painter for life!
Elissa's process painting group was truly an amazing, and meaningful experience. The space and materials are all provided, set-up to create, and be free! Elissa holds space for the group, and each person individually with wisdom and compassion. I always felt safe and welcomed to be authentic, wild and free!
