Was told by a property manager that I have to pay the deposit by e-transfer first and when it clears head office, only then would they release the rental agreement to me to see and sign. I wanted to see and sign the lease and was refused twice. THey want the money first. Contacted the office and they asked to have a blank lease for me to see, but not to sign. This goes against the BC RTA. When I made my concerns known they blocked all of my applications with other Wiebe properties.

Home, and how you choose to define it is a funny thing. Wherever you lay your head after a long day ; you hope for comfort and peace of mind to meet you at days end. After 15 years of living in the same place, same management ,same community, I can say I've been served very well. If ever a concern popped up in the building, it was dealt with professionally and timely manner. I've been a tenant with Wiebe Properties for 7 years, and I just moved into my second Wiebe-owned building last month. Management has always been friendly, professional, and easy to communicate with. Like any rental, the occasional issue comes up. When you put a bunch of strangers in a building together, issues are inevitable. But they genuinely seem to care about their tenants. This landlord takes very good care of their tenants. I have also witnessed very positive interactions with tradesmen that work on their properties. Rent is expensive these days and their spaces are not bottom dollar. But you will be hard pressed to find better value and respect from your rent dollars. Please keep up the good work Wiebe👍🏼
