We grew up in South Dakota now live in Oklahoma. We stay here every year. Luv it and would recommend the peace and quite. Beautiful location. Never been disappointed.

Starla was wonderful to work with! From helping get cabin arrangements figured out for a large family reunion, to being an amazing campground “host”. Not one negative thing to be said about the whole experience. We can’t wait to come back ❤️
We’ve always had an amazing time here. We just got back home and have a pain in our hearts that we had to leave again. My husband and I have been staying every summer since 2012 and will never stay anywhere else. It’s our “home” away from home. And probably more of a home to us in general. we had a fantastic time staying at Wickiup. However, our time was much to short. we all enjoyed tubing the creek and building a fire where other fellow campers joined us in smores and storytelling. location was great for locating all the local waterfalls.

Nestled in the pine forest that surrounds Spearfish Canyon, The Wickiup Village Cabins are an historic gem. A mixture of rustic 1930's and modern cabins, allow for comfort and a pioneering spirit in the beautiful Wickiup Village. We were there for one week. We wanted to stay for two. The added bonus of a sweet, caring staff, makes Wickiup Village a Must Visit in the beautiful Black Hills of SD.
