So, this place is Sneaky Good!!! Brilliant happy hour with small beers (frosted glass no less) $1.75 (large beers are double). House skinny margs start at $7 at happy hour. Happy hour is 12-5 daily and all day saturday. The chips and salsa is delish (a bit smoky). I have had the Taco salad many times, and the beef brisket bowl is amazing with lots of yummy tastes. So maybe the kitchen was understaffed and had new people? However the last two visits have been disappointing. My Carnitas Power Bowl was served without rice and black bean and a tiny as mount of pork. Server did bring rice and beans to add to bowl after notified. My wife's shrimp enchilada was dry over cooked and lacking sauce. WC was always consistent but not anymore. At least the $15 Boss Margaritas were good!
Let me start by saying that I've lived in phoenix az and Albuquerque nm so my palette is used to Mexican food on the spicy side, and has forever been changed by Hatch Green Chile. And that can be an unfortunate thing here, especially at Mexican restaurants. This is by far my favorite spot, thanks to the pork chile Verde and their green sauce.
