This location has gone drastically downhill in the last 5 years. The food was mediocre at best and kinda gross at worst. The cheesy corn tasted sour like it had been in the fridge or in hot holding too long. The pork was bland. It just wasn't good. I had this location cater my college graduation party in 2019. I would not do the same today.
This place ALWAYS delivers great food! Sauces are on the table so YOU control the amount and flavor. They have a new sriracha sauce that delivers! Drinks are self serve fountain soft drinks and ice teas on the side. Bottles of beer are available for purchase. I love the pulled pork. Always delicious! The burnt ends are seriously amazing! Good food. Had the pulledpork sandwich and hushpuppies. Came out quickly and tasted great.
Really great spot. I got the pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw and it was honestly so good - super tender and full of flavor. The best part was getting to select from six different BBQ sauces, which made it even better. The food speaks for itself. Whole Hog Cafe actually was founded by award-winning BBQ pitmasters (they’ve even won at the Memphis-in-May World Championship Barbecue Cooking Contest), and you can tell they know what they’re doing. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area.
