Great store! Great addition to the area. Great cheese selection, except for the new Clover brand. Did they actually try this cheese before bringing it in, or was the price too good to pass up? Kinda cheap and 'pedestrian' and not the quality you'd come to expect from Whole Foods. But a great store none the less.
love it! – Love, whole foods! Best salad bar ever:) Is an expensive store though.
Awesome products, horrible service – I love the products but I hate the shopping experience. Whole Foods has the best selection of cheese, wine, flowers...you name it. It's gourmet heaven. Their selection and quality/price is much better than similar grocery stores. However, the customer service makes me think twice before shopping there, here's why: It's been several times that I've been charged the same item twice, gone home and realize that one or more items that I purchased are missing, because the cashier forgot to put ... read more
Treat the body like a temple at the country's first national certified organic market. – In Short Whole Foods is a vegetarian's dream grocery store, with a focus on natural and organic goods and a gargantuan selection of fruits, vegetables and vegan products. But carnivores won't feel neglected, as stores also boast a vast selection of top-quality meats, poultry and fish. Also expect fresh-baked goods, housewares, a floral department and a well-stocked vitamin and personal-product section. Deli offers hot and cold prepared f... read more
Why shop there? – I don't have a Whole Foods store near where I live. The other day, while working in the Pearl District, I thought I'd check the WF location there. The place was extremely busy and was faily appealing, clean, and bright. Everything went downhill from there. I couldn't find anyone to help locate a few items - it seems the store was understaffed even considering the crown that were there. After I finally found some of the items I was looking for, I was shocked to see that prices were often 3-4 times more than ... read more
Don't eat the prepared food. – For some unpleasantly unkown reason, I ALWAYS get sick after eating at the prepared food section. Salad bar, soup bar, pastas, cooked, uncooked... the only pattern I can think of is that the workers aren't taking precautions or the kitchen itself is filthy. I'm done with diarrh** cha cha cha.
watch out for the ground raw meat – i bought a pound of ground lamb and a pound of organic ground beef. Came home put it in the refrigerator and an hour later made small well done hamburgers with the two meats combined. We all have had very bad stools as a result since then, now almost 24 hours even though we only ate an organic bagged lettuce from whoel foods as well. I will never buy the ground meat there again!
cool store This is definately one of the nicest Whole Foods I've been in and the food choices are overwhelming- I wanted to buy everything. The food bars are really great.
There's a reason it's called "whole paycheck" Whole Foods is a fun store if you are shopping for things that you can't find elsewhere. Their bakery and salad bar are just amazing. However, be prepared to pay a lot of money for most everything you purchase!
