I had a neuropsychological assessment done with Dr. Simmonds and I had a very positive experience up until a week ago when I tried reaching out to ask for my full results. The last time I saw Dr. Simmonds about a month ago she told me it would be about a month until I would get my results emailed to me. I have yet to receive any kind of communication from the office after numerous calls and left messages asking about my results. We spent months bringing our daughter here for a full neuropsych. When completed, the office refused to give us the report or any form of proof of her diagnosis so that we could start her on appropriate medication. This is the opposite of mental health help! I, at least, urge you to get in writing from them, how long the process will take & when you’ll get the written report of the results. My low score is related to how the office responded to post-evaluation follow up questions. I was able to get in quickly when I went to make an appointment which was great. But you can never get a live person to answer a phone call. They have a single secretary that appears to be the one in charge of that.. so you are always left to leave a message and wait for a call back. Dr. Mallory is amazing! She has helped me through this process with my son in more ways than one! She is compassionate, and I can tell she really cares!
Dr. Mallory was amazing with our 5 year old. He cried when we told him we weren't coming back after his assessment was over. She was very clear with us and answered all of our questions. We would recommend her to anyone.
