Bizarre experience. I ordered a slice of cake ($7.50) and a drip coffee ($3-4). They were out of drip so he offered to make me a pour-over ($5). Somehow the total came to $14 - looking at the receipt after paying I realized he charged me $8 for the cake and $6 for the coffee. What?? When I asked, I got a curt response: “our prices went up, I just haven’t updated the signs yet.” I asked to be refunded the extra $1.50 I was overcharged and he said “at those prices, I just don’t want to sell it at all” and took the cake and cof... read more
I cannot overstate how exceptional the cakes from here are. The texture and flavor is so light and unique. It’s like nothing I’ve experienced elsewhere. I get all my cakes here for all occasions.
