I'm having issues with St. Mary's Physicians office staff. Kaila and office manager) so she claimed (Tawanda. They refuse to follow my insurance company instruction and policies. Im waiting for an order to have lab work done. According to my Insurance co and my PCP, the doctor doing the surgery (Office) are supposed to prepared orders to the Lab work/Ekg. Please email me asap..
Thank you Dr. Whitten and Dr. Rose for the gift of perfect vision. After a multi-stage procedure of cataracts, lenses, and this final "tune-up", is it simply spectacular seeing every nuance of my surroundings.

the staff was amazing. they took each step very simply and ensured that I was comfortable. Dr. Whitten himself is almost like your grandfather. He took quite possibly the scariest thing that someone will contemplate: "shooting a laser into your eye" and making it so easy. he walks you through every step of the surgery before and during so that you always feel comfortable and you're not surprised. then to go home and sleep and drive yourself back the next day without needing glasses is the greatest feeling ever. I had lasik surgery 18 years ago when I was 50. I chose to have one eye corrected for distance and the other for reading. The strategy worked well! To be able to see when I woke up in the morning life changing as I had glasses since I was four and my distance vision kept worsening over the years. My vision is still good and most of the time I do not use reading glasses. I use a slight prescription now for driving, and for times when mu eyes are tired.
From the beginning it was a great experience! Everything was explained and did not have any suprises along the way. It is a friendly atmosphere and felt comfortable in researching what lasik is all about. I had the procedure and just like they said, I was able to be back at work the very next morning. Thank you Dr. Whitten and staff for such wonderful care!
