Dr. Whitt is a very knowlegeable and compassionate caregiver. In my endoscopy and follow-up he was thorough and informative.
Business response:
Thank you for sharing your experience!
I went for my first colonoscopy with Dr. Whitt and unfortunately, cancer was found. This was also Dr. Whitt's last day at the clinic and he went above and beyond to call and make sure I was okay and also helped me get in contact with the next step procedures and surgeon. I am so thankful for him being there for me. I am not from this area and he reached out to the best for me. I have now had my surgery and should be good to go. Dr. Whitt was a huge help in making this process smooth and quick. I very much appreciate him.

Jess, thank you for taking the time to provide us with a review of your experience!
Highly recommend Dr Whitt and his caring efficient staff, they take the stress out of the equation and put you at ease, first class team work!
Pleasant staff, considerate and helpful. I recently visited the site in Garner and was very pleased with the care of the Joshua Lorbacher. I will and have recommended this facility.
I will not hesitate to go back in 7 yrs to have the procedure done again. It was such a relaxing, pleasant experience.
I recently lost my Brother Ron to rectal cancer, he was older but had not had a colonoscopia in his 68/years! Even though our family has a history of this of type cancer. I was 1/yr past due for my 2nd procedure, and Brother begged me to please go get it done before "it's too late". Dr. Whitt and his staff are good, patient, and comforting, they discovered a problem and removed it precancerous. Thankfully I had successful results, please don't wait too long!
I went in for a colonoscopy with Dr. Whitt in Raleigh. He and his staff were very professional. The nurses before and after the procedure were excellent, and Dr. Whitt was very reassuring and professional when he and I spoke prior to the procedure. The entire experience was excellent.
Was seen by Dr Whitt's office twice both by PA's who did not review my health concerns, did not ask what they could help with, and wanted to move straight into colonoscopy. The second visit I had to ask to see the doctor. The doctor was flip, made friendly banter but did not examine me, did not review my history with me, did not ask what he could help with, and so on. Very impersonal and certainly felt like I was just another item out the revolving door.
All patients want to have a doctor who... Listens, speaks frankly, yet communicates in a personal and friendly manner in such a way you feel comfortable in relating your concerns and what to expect as a follow-up to treatment....Doctor Whitt is that rare combination of both Doctor and empathetic physician.....On a follow-up visit in 2018 when asking how I was doing, I related some difficulty with symptoms not related to his treatment....in just a few minutes he was on the phone with my cardiologist and two days later I had o... read more
