Dr. Bakken is excellent. I rely on her so much. Penn Medicine is lucky to have her and so am I. I’m very glad I found her. She’s the first doctor I’ve ever seen results with.
Dr. Bakken is the best psychiatrist I have ever had. And I’ve had a psychiatrist since the age of 9 and I’m 35 years old now, so I’ve been through my fair share of doctors. I’ve never felt judged by her. I feel comfortable being completely honest with her, and that makes our patient-provider relationship so successful.
Dr. Bakken truly changed my life. When I was struggling with my mental health for over a year, I switched to her—and it was the best decision I could’ve made. She actually takes time to listen and genuinely cares about her patients. Every concern I brought up, she took seriously and helped me work through it. I’ve been seeing her since 2019, and my mental health has improved more than I ever thought possible. She’s compassionate, thorough, and truly one of a kind.
