We purchased a float switch from Whitman Controls that was inoperable when received. We spent 8 hours trying to figure out the problem with the float. Our original diagnostic was that we were sent a faulty part, and indeed we were. I contacted them on Monday and they were very fast to respond. To make a long story short we were told that we over charged the switch. We bought a 12v switch and only used 12v so that's not possible.
