best ice cream in the area – Whitey's is a QC tradition. They have great ice cream and nice people. The smurf ice cream is my favorite. Their shakes and malts have a special blend in them that makes them very creamy and delicious.

They're a chain now, with lots of locations; and the ice cream is just as good at all of them, but this one stands out because of the parlor-feel. I recommend the shakes.
