Pretty sad customer service. I miss how whitesides used to be. There used to be friendly csr's inside where they knew exactly where to point you to the work boots I needed. Now? .... They told me to go look at the tags on boots. They'll tell you what they are. All I wanted was someone that knows this inventory more than I do because I don't work there. I wanted steel toe, waterproof, and wide. That's it! I got told to "look at the tags" and "they're somewhere over in this isle" twice. Never upset or mean to me, but neglected... read more
Whiteside’s is the real deal for work gear. I’ve been hitting them up for Ariat boots and Carhartt for a while now. They actually know their stuff when it comes to proper fit, which is huge when you’re on a job site all day. Fair prices and great to support a local family-owned spot.
In Greeley on business, I stopped by Whiteside’s for some winter gear for the worksite. Was happy to give business to a local store. I purchased a $65 Ariat hoodie. After one was careful wash it faded dramatically and the length shrunk by a few inches. They reached out to their supplier that wouldn’t do anything so neither would they. Maybe Cavanders would’ve done something better in this situation? I’ll stick with the big guys from now on. Original review was not a good one. I made the decision to go back to this store mainly because you can't beat the prices and selection, but this time around the customer service was on point. Helpful, attentive, and just good people working there now. I had an issue with the Keen boots I purchased right at 30 days which ended up being a manufacturer defect.
