To replace a 2014 Jeep Compass alternator, White’s Automotive quoted $1,200.00. The actual part is available at AutoZone for $203.99 and labor is rated at $154.00 by Kelly’s Bluebook. Brought in a rear Tractor tire for repair. Tire had less than 100 hours on it, so wanted to see if it can be repaired. Sidewall had very small leak caused by barbwire that had got wound up under brush cutter and whipped around and hit it. They were able to band and patch. However, the problem is that they scratched the crap out of the wheel. Granted it is a Tractor and will eventually get scratched but the Tractor is new, and we don't need it all scratched up because of carelessness. I tried calling but unable to contact the... read more
