Love skiing at Whitefish. Usually good snow, nice accommodation on the hill 2016 will be our 6th ski season for destination skiing. My only beef is the people who scan your ticket every time you get into a chairlift line. They step on your ski's hold up the line while empty quad chairs are headed up the mountain. Would love to see this change.
In the summer, the lifts started running a little late in the morning, especially if you wanted to get up mountain hiking before the hottest part of the day. Also, some of the restaurants and pubs up the mountain closed early, not allowing thoe of us staying up mountain to enjoy them after a long day of hiking, etc. The townsite was very crowded on weekends and many restaurants would not take reservations. We missed out on several restaurants bacause of this...the line-ups were just too long. The zip-lining was extremely fun... read more
