Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. They are really helpful.
The staff and doctors at Whitecourt Optometry Clinic are wonderful. I called to check for any cancellations and they kindly accommodated me last minute for a comprehensive eye exam. Dr. Juliane M. Watson was excellent - very knowledgeable, patient, and thorough. She also took the time to answer lots of eye-care questions I had and offered helpful guidance with which ones to use and why without rushing. I truly appreciated the care and attention she provided.
While it takes a long time to get in for exams—they’re busy because they do great work and are extremely conscientious in their care. They’re busy because they are in high demand I want the best for my family so waiting is not a problem. Dr. (Julianne) Watson is so great with my kids, a great mix of fun and also is able to “mom” them a little as they are rambunctious boys and often act out for me. I think this outfit only sees people who have physical problems with their eyes. I went to see them when I had an eye problem, and they were very nice and looked at me right away and helped me with my eye problem. Kudos. On the other hand, if you only need an eye exam and need new glasses, good luck. I think they are extremely busy maybe.
After multiple attempts to call this clinic over the last few weeks/months (to no avail, due to continually getting a busy signal) I have moved on. Glasses purchased there were poor quality, lenses were the worst I have ever had in over 45 yrs of wearing glasses. Warranty replacements were the same, scratched almost instantly. I too have found this business less than welcoming as well. A disappointing waste of time and money to say the least.
