Our family of four started the journey in October 2020 to find a Brittany. We specifically wanted a roan which are hard to find in the Midwest. Once we saw Gil (Steve’s dog) we knew we had to have a White Swan Brittany. We got a pick of the May 2021 litter with Bella (Brenda Hanson’s dog), which was our top choice litter. We got a beautiful female orange roan puppy (Cassi) bred by Brenda Hanson out of Steve's stud Gil, and couldn't be happier with the process. Steve was great about communicating when we had questions or concerns up until whelping and Cassi's transition from momma to us was seamless. I met Steve at the breeder's house and my kids had a great time with the rest of the litter before we took ours home. We even got to meet Gil before we left as Steve brought him to the breeder.

This past July, I got a puppy bred by Brenda Hanson (Bella) with Steve Deger's stud, Gil. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the both of them, their dogs, and the whole experience. I am a long-time Brittany owner, having gotten from numerous breeders over the years, and can honestly say that I will now always return to White Swan. Our dog Keto was bred by Karla Holmgren (Gemma) out of White Swan Brittanys' stud, Gil. We could not be happier with the entire experience and our wonderful puppy Keto. Steve's communication was great... connecting us with Karla and answering all the questions we had. Karla is an amazing person. She was always eager to talk, answer questions, send photos and videos, facetime and allow visits. We got a puppy from Brenda Hanson out of Steve’s dog Gil and the the process was outstanding. Appreciated the communication from both Steve and Brenda as we navigated the waiting list and pick up of our pup. The Facebook posts of the moms and litters was great to follow. Most importantly we’re happy with our new family member Daisy and would recommend White Swan.
