My son went to pay off his vehicle loan. He wanted to use his credit card to get the points. The teller did not inform him that it would be a cash advance. When he found out that is was, he asked to speak to the manager, she was extremely rude, telling him he should have known that it would be a cash advance. The experience cost him about $250.00 & White Sands refused to even consider reversing the charge on his credit card. He said if the teller would have told him he would have written a check instead. We’ve been members over 4 years with direct deposit and our home loan (no late payments). They wouldn’t cash a $100 CASHIERS check from a friend and wanted to hold it 5 days! We told them hell no. They refused to discuss in private and made us discuss at the teller. We’re closing out our account. They treat us like crooks. The have too many fees where other banking institutions don’t charge. They don’t value great customers. Buh bye!

Used to love it, but will be looking elsewhere. They are NOT member oriented, very greedy board members who forgot who support them.
