Chaplains avoid working for White Pines and Olive Grove in Blaine. This is where I had to watch too many of my patients endure neglect and incomptency. 2 hours of untreated pain. Oncall nurse never put eyes on the pt. No mobile xray. Oncall nurse refuses to go to bedside of actively dying patient and of course they revoke. Former Pt dies at the hospital. Pt continue to fall. 85 degrees and A/C doesn't work. Thermostat says change batteries. I supply/do it myself. Still no go. Tell the guy sitting playing catch with his ball(s) in the office. He tells me to track down the maintenance guy (gone for the day) I can barely walk.
