We were fortunate enough to be able to visit last Saturday at a work function for my wife. Boy am I happy that we went! We had such a blast doing a safari on the bus. I can only imagine how awesome it must be to do a Safari via horseback. My six-year-old and one-year-old could not have had more fun. Never would’ve imagined I would’ve been petting rhinoceroses and feeding giraffes so up close and personal. What a great day!
We recently did safari from the saddle and it was fantastic! I can’t believe something this exotic and wonderful exists so close to home! Billy and Shannon were excellent guides and everything from the horseback ride to the animal encounters was top notch! The picnic lunch was delicious too! Everyone you interact with at White Oak has a true love and appreciation for the animals they care for! I can’t wait to go back!

This is an amazing facility with acres of space for the animals and birds who are content and healthy. The staff is superb; for example, there have been successful matings of endangered species. Dinner after the trolley ride was remarkable, too, whether you're vegan, vegetarian or not. All in all, the experience gave me hope for the future. I'll be returning.
