We did the Safari in the Saddle tour yesterday. I can't stop talking about it. It was such a fabulous experience. Shannon was a fantastic tour guide. Not only did we get the personal and up close experience by horseback, we had an open van tour throughout the facility. Shannon was so knowledgeable about every animal and was so patient with us making sure we had the perfect shot for every photo. Our round of golf at White Oak has become an annual special treat. It is an amazing place and yesterday was even better as we were the only two golfers on the course.
My husband and I decided to do the Safari from the Saddle for our Anniversary. It was the most amazing experience. The life that White Oak Conservatory has created for these animals is pure luxury. The knowledge and love that our tour guide Shannon had for these creatures was unbelievable. Not only did we learn so much about saving endangered animals, we got to see majestic species. I highly recommend this for all ages.
this place is incredible! our mammalogy class from Georgia southern visited today, and none of us wanted to leave! our guide was amazing and so knowledgeable, the animals are so well cared for, and the work they do in conservation is absolutely incredible. so glad we came here for our field trip!

Caretaker experience yesterday with my friend. We LOVED it; every minute of it. From the wonderful Stephanie who guided us throughout the day to meeting the fabulous animal caretakers.
