My husband saw them as a new patient in July. He had very concerning lab results and was sent for an echo of his heart. It took 2 weeks to get results and he had to call to ask for them-no one contacted him. Then the colonoscopy they referred him for showed something concerning that required surgery. Very bad at communication-won't call with results and everything is taking at least twice as long as it should to get results and contact the patient.
Today I received a call from my daughter she was being taken to the Oaklawn ER and asked if I would please meet her there. Upon my arrival I was told they were getting her settled and someone would get me when this was finished. I waited for about 40 minutes, and I was finally taken back. When I walked into the room, she started to tell me something and began crying.
