I worked there as a LPN and I have to say true residents are great but the company doesn’t support its staff or provide proper wages for those who are HCAs, LPNs, Cooks, Housekeeping etc… there was no funding for having RPNs when it’s a mental health residency yet they allow RPN students to shadow due to “costs”. They also don’t support the backbones of the place such as the charge RN, the head chef, and Support worker. For being one of very very few mental health facilities in Kelowna, they do outstanding work. New management has help sort out any complications that the building use to have.
