It is a venerable Door Count institution that must be visited with a stay and/or a delicious meal! We've been going since 1978 and it's getting better and finer!
Excellent food, great service, friendly waitress and pleasing ambiance. Loved the fresh baked dinner rolls, my shrimp and scallop dish was delicious. The fish was perfectly cooked. I had the bread pudding for dessert. The harpist was a wonderful touch to make it a very special evening at our last night at the Door. Thank you for a delightful evening. We will be back;)
Good food, just wish our waitress was more friendly. Didn't smile or seem like she wanted to be there, didn't even ask me what I wanted to drink then when I told her finally what I wanted to drink she never brought it! Not sure if we'd go back!

You can't order wrong, everything is excellent! Very nice service. Love the patio coffee makes waiting for your table easier!
