I was in an accident where I fell headfirst down a flight of stairs.Upon exam at a local hospital I was transferred to Me.Med in Portland,Me and Dr. White was on staff.He inserted a plate between C-6,C-7 and T-1. After 3 months of recuperation while in a neck brace I fully recovered. I know it could have been much worse and am thankful that his skills were used on me.
I was blessed to have Dr. White, last March 18, decide to perform emergency surgery on my brain. Was delivered to hospital due to brain bleed (acute large left subdoural hematoma , craniotomy, evacuation, and drain). What does one say when one knows that a particular surgeon, who one has never met, saved her life? I can only thank God Almighty who sent him my way. I walked out of the hospital two weeks later without a walker, and aside from fatigue, have returned to the busy life I lead pre-brain bleed! I am ninety years old... read more
