Dr Andrews was absolutely incredible with my 4yo son. She made his first eye exam fun, comfortable, and time efficient. He entered feeling nervous, but left feeling cheerful and proud of his performance on the eye exam “games”.
Update March 2026. Visited for my regular checkup today and was happy with the quick A to Z eye service provided by the clinic. This was my second appointment with Dr. Sivasegaran in two years. She is friendly, through and competent. I highly recommend her for anyone looking for a good eye doctor in Durham region. Excellent front desk service, the lady was polite and helpful. Not bad service from the optometrist , but I always feel rushed and they just pushing through customer asap just to maximize volume - understandable I guess. What gets me if that a frame that costs $70 will end up costing you ~$500 dollars here. $500 dollars excluding the eye test fee! The lens cost is one aspect but the place where it goes berserk is due to the high dispensing fee as they will explain but I advise anyone not to get their glasses from here. $500 for $70 frames, no complicated dual lenses, simple straightforw... read more

Highly recommend for your vision care! I've been to Whitby Vision Care three times. My visits were always pleasant. Everyone was very nice. On my first visit I was seen by Dr. Jeannie Wong. The exam was very thorough. The following year I came back to buy glasses. The opticians helped me choose the glasses that best fit my needs. They also gave me plenty of wonderful eyeglass fashion advice. The glasses are customized to fit me perfectly and to rest nicely on my face.
