Highly recommend for your vision care! I've been to Whitby Vision Care three times. My visits were always pleasant. Everyone was very nice. On my first visit I was seen by Dr. Jeannie Wong. The exam was very thorough. The following year I came back to buy glasses. The opticians helped me choose the glasses that best fit my needs. They also gave me plenty of wonderful eyeglass fashion advice. The glasses are customized to fit me perfectly and to rest nicely on my face. Yikes! Came close to closing time to spend $400 on contacts (could have ordered online and ask if I could get glasses adjusted (takes only a few minutes and it was before 5:30) and was harshly told no. Lots of side eye and grumpiness. Do better. Customer service should matter more to your clinic and after reading some over your reviews online this seems to be an issue
While everyone in my family gets annual check ups at Whitby Vision Care, twice in the last 6 months, Whitby Vision Care has accommodated members of my family for emergency (same day) appointments with utmost care and concern. Brenda at the desk is an absolute gem, and the doctors and clinicians are excellent. I have been a patient of Dr. Schmitz for over 30 years and she has always been kind, thorough, and professional. I would highly recommend this eye clinic.
