Whistle Stop Grocery is trash. The food quality has completely diminished while keeping the same prices. They treat their employees like garbage. 0/10 do not recommend. If you want to pay $10 for a 4oz salad that’s half stems, drink bitter coffee, and enjoy going in to see empty shelves then Whistle stop is for you.
RecommendedBest quiche ever yesterday. OMG. A slice of heaven. Love this place. Can’t get enough. Everything is made with the secret ingredient. LOVE!!!!! They make the best chocolate pudding. Best chocolate cake. Best breakfast sandwiches. Everything is fresh and wholesome goodness. Love you guys.

We visited Union Pier for the first time last year and the Whistle Stop was a daily staple for breakfast and coffee. Everything was great! The staff was friendly, coffee was amazing and the pastries were fresh and in season. This year, everything has changed. The staff is rude and unfriendly, the pastries seem like they come from Walmart and the coffee was anything but amazing. I'm not sure what happened to this place. Maybe they'll realize what's wrong as most recent reviews say mostly the same as mine does.

We never visit Union Pier or New Buffalo without a stop or two here. THE best coffee, pastries, salads. Love love Whistle Stop.
On are trips to 4 Winds always take the time to visit the Whistle Stop Grocery. Excellent coffee, tasty food and delicious bakery.
I visit with friends each Mother's Day and love this place! The food is delicious and the atmosphere is perfect.
