Only an hour plus a few minutes away, this place gave our group an outstanding weekend getaway. We not only enjoyed fishing, kayaking, and swimming the Colorado River, we also enjoyed the evenings with amazing river sunsets, falling stars, and out of this world summer breezes. If you're looking for a family fun activity- this is a sure thing. Both the kids (ages 11 & 14) were never bored and we tired them out and they never needed nor asked for their iPads or cellphones !! Beautiful and peaceful place!! Enjoyed floating down the river, Smithville and Bastrop was fun to explore!! Loved it �
Beautiful place right on the river with a big grass field for kids (and adults)!to play on and tons of shade. Decor was very cute and fun and comfortable. Can't wait to go back.
Great community, the scenic views are a nice treat during sunrise and sunset.
