I toured an apartment up for rent, and before I even saw it, just from the surroundings, I decided I didn't want to rent there. There is no secureness to the building. The doors at both ends were wide open - anyone off the street or anywhere on the grounds could walk right in. This openness also meant the floors were dirty from debris being blown into hallways. Love my condo, the location, the parks around, the green zones, and quiet neighbors. What can be improved: cleaning common areas (that also includes awareness from neighbors of not throwing trash), more participation from all neighbors in projects, and HOA management

Our HOA (Brightstar) is incredibly dismissive and barely does anything (they're archaic!). they've been doing roof work recently after some scrutin but there are many unfinished and forgotten projects that are equally as important like new handrails and getting working washers into complexes (a7's 2 washers haven't been working since new years). feel free to move here if there's new management, pretty good place and location, but the property manager and Brightstar aren't worth it.
