Was looking at photos of the apartment online. Asked to set up a tour to see in person. Before I can even see in person they want me to fill out a application and pay $25 fee. Then I can see and tour the complex. Yeah I'm not going to pay for a application before even seeing the apartment. They also kept sending me a link that didn't work. Seems kind of scammy and fishy.
Disgusting lack of respect for residents. New management, still a slumlord. Be sure to put maintenance requests in an email. And if they are serious, copy the city inspector for West Des Moines if you want anything done about it. They will eventually be forced to maintain the property from the city. It would be nice if they would disinfect the area around the trash bins.
Unprofessional Management, Don’t Waste Your Time Here! I’ve lived in this complex for over four years, and ever since the new management took over three months ago, everything has gone downhill. They are completely unprofessional and don’t care about tenant safety or concerns. Maintenance takes weeks or even a month to respond, and serious issues are ignored. In terms of location, it is a convenient place to reside, but the management leaves much to be desired. The staff in the office are quite unprofessional, discourteous, and lack experience. They are unable to effectively resolve residents' concerns. I would give the maintenance service a rating of ZERO. I reported a maintenance issue a month ago, and it remains unaddressed as of the time of this review. I will soon be moving from this place for a better situation.
