Whisper Mountain is a beautiful place to live if you love peace, privacy, and nature. The mountain views are stunning, and one of my favorite parts is the drive home..seeing the land and scenery never gets old. It offers a private lifestyle, but with great neighbors that make the community feel welcoming. We have owned a lot for many years at Whisper Mountain and built our 1,200 sq.ft. home starting in October 2021 and moved in July 2022. Our home is situated at an elevation of 3,250 feet so we benefit from nice breezes that keep us cooler than the towns a few miles away in the valley and we have wonderful views to the east all the way to Mt. Mitchell 32 miles away and shorter range views to the south through the Davidson Gap. We had a fabulous stay at Whisper Mountain with our boys visiting family and chilling out. We enjoyed relaxing at the lodge, playing pool and also took advantage of the well equipped exercise room. It was so peaceful having our morning coffee on the balcony watching the birds and other wildlife around us, truly a magical place. Stunning views and great walking trails, so much to see and do here. We will definitely be back, considering buying a lot here too.

What incredible experiences we’ve had staying at this cabin. The views are unbelievable, the location is fantastic, and the home itself is beautiful — truly no downsides to staying here! Would recommend to anyone hoping to enjoy a peaceful mountain weekend and already planning our next trip back!
