We have owned a lot for many years at Whisper Mountain and built our 1,200 sq.ft. home starting in October 2021 and moved in July 2022. Our home is situated at an elevation of 3,250 feet so we benefit from nice breezes that keep us cooler than the towns a few miles away in the valley and we have wonderful views to the east all the way to Mt. We had a fabulous stay at Whisper Mountain with our boys visiting family and chilling out. We enjoyed relaxing at the lodge, playing pool and also took advantage of the well equipped exercise room. It was so peaceful having our morning coffee on the balcony watching the birds and other wildlife around us, truly a magical place. Stunning views and great walking trails, so much to see and do here. We will definitely be back, considering buying a lot here too.
What incredible experiences we’ve had staying at this cabin. The views are unbelievable, the location is fantastic, and the home itself is beautiful — truly no downsides to staying here! Would recommend to anyone hoping to enjoy a peaceful mountain weekend and already planning our next trip back!
Whisper Mountain is a MUST VISIT!! We go every year and it’s a trip we make sure to put on our calendar. The views are truly breathtaking and it’s a perfect distance from downtown Asheville. You get the best balance between mountain serenity and classic Asheville fun, but if I’m being honest, once you’re settled in at Whisper Mountain you aren’t going to want to leave!
