Just needing a quick lunch somewhere downtown so we ended up at The Whiskey Alley Saloon. As we entered we felt it was a nice, comfortable atmosphere with a gorgeous old style bar so it was off to a good start. We sat at the bar & decided on The Pulled Pork Sandwich & the Greek Tacos. I'd say everything was edible but definitely on the bland side with portion sizes being relatively small & the prices being on the high side ( 2 Entrees & an Iced Tea for $ 41.08 ) Next time in Columbia we will pass on the Whiskey Alley Saloon.
Lydia was unprofessional and rude. Ignoring guests who want one drink each (one a beer and one an old fashioned) 30+ minutes before you close is unacceptable. Add to it that we are celebrating a birthday and we are not “regulars” it is disheartening. Attitude adjustment is needed. Bar is beautiful. Can’t speak on the food but the menu looked good.
My wife & I stopped in here last weekend for a late lunch. Self serve seating at the time. Main seating area was not busy yet. A very extensive drink menu. They offer a lunch menu & dinner menu after 4pm. They promote their fresh farm to table menu options. My wife had the Cuban style sandwich and French Onion soup. She loved it. Just, meh food. I had the smashburger, so dry. This was recommended to me. I just wasn't satisfied. I did like the atmosphere, but it's a no for food....sorry
