Awesome place! Will and Conner bent over backwards to make us feel welcome. Gunner made his rounds regularly to make sure we were all set. Definitely returning!
Simply beautiful and the owners are friendly and go further to see that you’re all set. They will deliver ice, firewood and rebuild your fire pit if it’s not right for site. Pool is centrally located and you can even bring your pet into the pool area but not the pool.
Whippoorwill staff were very friendly and accommodating. Nice small quiet campground. New owner is upgrading the sites to have sewer.
In all honesty after reading all the great reviews it saddens me that I can’t say we had the same enjoyable experience as all the others. After yearly visits to this campground since 2014 and after last years great experience with the new owners we were really looking forward to this years. We booked sites in January with other family members and after speaking over the phone and confirming our sites were together we got there and found out we couldn’t be father apart from our family. A nice campground near Lake George with hookups, showers, and a friendly staff. Enjoyed our stay.
Awesome campground. We have been going to Lake George for almost 20 years, I wish we would have camped here sooner. Booked another stay before we left. Definitely will be camping here when we visit in the future.
This campground is amazing and we can’t wait to come back! Such a homey feel, owners are fantastic!
