I recently took my 15 month old to get his very first little hair cut. We had Addisen and she was super sweet! Very patient with him while he was navigating all the new things like the feeling of clippers on his head, lol. I loved the atmosphere and the staff all seemed very sweet and kind. Addisen did great on his hair as best as she could since he was moving so much and we love it. We’ve gone now twice for our daughter and once for our son after our stylist of almost 5 years moved away. We loved Shelly - I am certain she will learn our kids hair as she works with them more. Our son’s looked great but grew out a little weird - it was our first visit so I’ll chalk that up to getting to know his hair and growth patterns. Daughter’s first cut was adorable! We took our son here for his first haircut and it was so great. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming, and the front desk staff greeted us right away and was very friendly. Jinaya did such a great job cutting our son’s hair. She made it look easy and effortless as he moved his head looking around in curiosity during the cut, and was calm and comforting at the end when he started to get a bit whiney. I’ve been to Whimsikidz three times with my son and we’ve always had a great experience. The first two times I took him he had a hard time, but they were so patient with him and never made us feel bad. Today we took him and saw Cassie and she was great. He actually found the whole thing funny this time and she gave him a great haircut. He’s only two, so I’m glad he’s starting to associate the hair salon with positive feelings. I’d highly recommend!
